
About Ashique Mustafa
Ashique Mustafa (passport and NID name: Md. Asheke Mostafa, Name in Bengali আশিক মুস্তাফা ) is a writer, child activist, researcher, editor and translator. More than 50 of his books have been published from home and abroad; both fiction and nonfiction. He was actively engaged with the child encyclopedia publishing from Bangladesh Shishu Academy.

Ashique’s Research papers on child literature have been published in the journal of Tokyo University (Japan), Sidho Kanho-Birsa University (India) and Jahangirnagar University (Bangladesh). He has achieved Agrani Bank Child-literature prize as the most junior writer. He has also gained a number of prizes including Meena Media Award by UNICEF and Jogindranath Sarker medal from India. Professionally Ashique is a journalist; working in The Daily Samakal, a leading daily newspaper of Bangladesh for seven years as the editor of child literature page and youth page. Ashique is one of the founders and Founding president of 4C (Child Centric Creative Center), a voluntary initiative working for flourishing Children creativity through literature and culture.
